The vaccine is available without charge, however we ask that those individuals covered by Medicaid or Medicare bring their card with them.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has mandated that all states post information and a schedule of public flu clinics for the general public on their websites. The Missouri map that has local information by county and county-level immunization calendars are posted on the DHSS website http://www.dhss.mo.gov/ and http://www.fighttheflumo.com/contact.html.

Everyday actions people can take to stay healthy:

1. If you get sick, the CDC recommends you stay home from work or school and omit contact with others to keep from infecting them.

3. Wash you hands often with soap and water, especially after you cough or sneeze. Alcohol based hand cleaners are also effective.

4. Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth.

SYMPTOMS INCLUDE:
  • Sudden onset of fever (over 101)
  • Sore throat
  • Dry cough
  • Body aches
  • Extreme fatigue/tiredness
  • Nausea/Vomiting
